Everything Coming to Netflix in July: From Stanger Things to Orange Is The New Black

Just finished binging your last show? Fret not. July will see a lot of shows and films coming to Netflix, including both old and new ones. After a bombastic month at the theaters, July will see a good number of shows debut on Netflix, both from India and outside. Here are the top ones:

Netflix Stranger Things Season 3

Well, this is a no-brainer. After taking a 2-year break, the series will return for a 3rd round out of its planned five. Stranger Things has become a staple of good Netflix originals, and expectations are pretty high with this one.

Netflix Typewriter

This 5-episode limited thriller series comes from the mind of none other than Sujay Ghosh, who’s directed cult hits like Kahaani and Badla. The show’s synopsis reads: “Typewriter is about a haunted house and a haunted book that stir the imagination of a group of young, wannabe ghost hunters, and a dog, determined to capture the ghost that plagues the notorious home in their neighborhood in Goa. When a new family and their captivating daughter move into the haunted home, the crew finds it difficult to balance the demands of school and chores with the renewed urgency to capture the neighborhood ghost before it is too late.”

It’s clear that Netflix is taking India, and its large user base, very seriously, coming up with new and original shows catering to the core Indian audience. It’ll be interesting to see what Ghosh has been cooking up in this mystery-thriller.

Another Netflix original, the show will continue from where it left off last season.

While it didn’t garner the best reviews, John Abraham’s spy-thriller did manage to turn in a profit. You can check out the film when it hits Netflix on July 7th. So, good news?
