Denis Villeneuve’s 2021 adaptation of Frank Herbert’s classic novel ‘Dune’ is a mix of high concept sci-fi and politics, starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, the Aquaman, Thanos, Moon Knight and Zendaya as NOT Mary Jane for 10 minutes. It is better than David Lynch’s 1984 film adaptation - is what we would confidently say if we had watched that film. We didn’t, but it probably is better than it.
